Biography

Gabriele Brucato is an Italian-American Independent Filmaker raised in Bologna, Italy, and now currently based in Chicago. His work engages themes of faith, memory, and human connection. He is currently in development on his third feature. Our Breath, his debut, was a coming of age drama about friends learning about growth and loss in a small town. Eighteen told five parallel stories of young men on the same threshold day, searching for what comes next. Now in development, Coyote follows a wandering musician chasing a lost love down the American South, a road film about longing, dependency, and what it means to love and be loved.
